Forest bathing for architects

Mar 19, 2021 | Uncategorised

I found out yesterday that our forest bathing event at Harcourt Arboretum is going ahead on 25 April.

My yoga teaching partner Nadia Saadi and I have been hoping and praying we’d still be able to lead this, so we’re thrilled!

Why not join us for a few peaceful hours to experience mindful walking with the bluebells, multi-sensory meditation, contemplation of trees, and Nadia’s beautiful Yin Yoga on the grass.

Architects: this is biophilic design at source! We’ll be exploring natural textures, fractals in the macro/microcosm, the Japanese concept of ‘ma’ (spaces between), the natural canopy and light, phytoncides (essential oils from trees), prospect and refuge, genius loci, orientation in space and much more besides.

Come and join us. Link to tickets here: https://www.obga.ox.ac.uk/whats-on#/?
